WHY SODECO

Since 1979, Albuquerque contractors have relied on SODECO for water-related products. Now our water treatment division is open directly to homeowners at contractor prices.

We’re water specialists who know the details to do the job right. We belong to the Water Quality Association, a not-for-profit international association representing the water treatment industry. The WQA acts as a resource and information source to water treatment professionals and the public.

We offer professional quality products, service and support at contractor prices. As members of the Better Business Bureau and the Home Builders Association of Central New Mexico, we care about doing a good job for you, and we have the experience to make it happen. That’s the SODECO difference.

Stop by our showroom (or take the online tour) to see all of SODECO’s bath, spa, steam, sauna, pool and water treatment equipment.

SOFTENED WATER SAVES MONEY

Our water softener systems eliminate the costly effects of hard water. No more stains or build up on your sinks and bathtubs. No more plumbing clogged from scale. Your appliances will last longer and operate more efficiently. You’ll save money on laundry detergent, soaps and shampoos. You may even spend less money on skin care products.

REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS SAVE ENERGY AND MONEY

With your own reverse osmosis drinking water system, you get clean, pure and delicious water for cooking and drinking that’s as good or better than bottled water. An R.O. system runs only by water pressure and is delivered efficiently from your home’s plumbing system.

Think of the inefficiencies that go with buying bottled water. Transportation, time, space and all the energy and materials associated with producing and selling the water. Not to mention the stuff is pretty heavy to lug around.

An in-home R.O. unit requires some maintenance and uses some extra water. But the environmental costs are small compared with bottled water.

SERVICE YOU CAN COUNT ON

Our technicians will test your water, examine your plumbing and give you a quote. SODECO does not have commissioned sales people, so you won’t get a hard sell! But you can expect SODECO to stand behind the systems we sell. We’ll give you an orientation on how your system works, we stock the filters you need and we’ll teach you how to change them yourself, if you like. And we’ll be there if you need information or service on your system.

With SODECO, you know you’ll have the ongoing support to keep your equipment working for many years.

WATER SOFTENER SYSTEMS

The Fleck 6700 valve is now standard on all systems. This is the best valve available. It just isn’t worth using anything else.

The main features of the valve are:

  • The best technology and components available. It's reliable, efficient and simple.
  • User-friendly controls that automatically set backwash cycles based on your actual water use.
  • 1" ports for maximum flow.
  • 9-volt battery backs up settings in case of power outages or low voltage.

And each softener comes with these extras:

  • 20" pre-filter with activated carbon or sediment cartridge. This pre-filter alone gives your whole house an extra level of filtration. If you’re on city water, the carbon will remove impurities, including chlorine. If you have a well, the sediment cartridge traps dirt over 5 microns from entering your softener and your home.
  • Extra cartridge for pre-filter so you can learn to change it yourself
  • Softener tanks are non-corrosive FRP and tested to 300 psi. Our systems have stainless steel shells for a streamlined appearance and superior protection.
  • 6 bags K-Life Potassium.
  • Over the counter warranties. If you have a problem, you only need to call us.
REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEMS

How Does Reverse Osmosis Work?

The R.O. process uses a semi-permeable membrane that removes up to 99% of impurities and contaminants from your water. By using only water pressure, the water is essentially "squeezed" through the membrane. Pure water goes one direction, and the rest flushes away.

Possible contaminants that can be removed by a reverse osmosis system include arsenic, asbestos, cryptosporidium, cyanide, fluoride, giardia, lead, mercury, nitrates, radon, chlorides, chlorine, copper, sodium, and others.

And with every R.O. system from SODECO, you get these extras:

  • 50 gpd (gallons per day) membrane for efficient production and quick recovery time.
  • Choice of faucet styles and finishes, including the new brushed finishes.
  • First extra set of replacement cartridges free.
  • Flush valve for long membrane life.
  • 1-year service and installation warranty.

As an option, consider an inexpensive TDS meter to monitor yourself how pure your water is.

INSTALLATION

SODECO installs all of the equipment and systems we sell. We know all the details of our softener and R.O. systems. An experienced installer makes a big difference in appearance, as well as function, of the equipment. Proper materials, layout and serviceability are always considered. Our professional installers know the specifics of our systems that you or your regular plumber might not. So rely on our expertise and trained professions to do the job right.

When you buy from SODECO, you get the whole package – the right equipment, properly installed, with ongoing service and support.
